Graduated from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Toho University.

Studied under the late Shotaro Akiyama, and mainly photographed flowers and landscapes.

She has been a lecturer at Nikon College, Fujifilm Academy X, and Joshibi University of Art and Design.
