With respect and gratitude to the nurses who work day and night to protect the lives of patients with infectious diseases without regard for the risk to my life.
Born in Osaka in 1949. After studying at the Nihon University College of Art, he moved to the United States, where he has been based in New York City for the past 50 years. Since then, he has been based in New York City for more than 50 years, creating and exhibiting works of art for more than 30 years. The world's "sacred places" were photographed with a 14x20 inch camera over a period of time, and the platinum prints were printed in platinum. He has continued to work on this project to date.
His work is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and many other museums in the U.S. He has published 15 books of his work, including <Seduction> in 2017, <Eternal Light> in 2018, and <Requiem> in 2019.
